According to PuppySpot.com, Goldendoodles are the most preferred puppies in San Francisco, Miami and Denver. The city welcoming home the most puppies so far this year is New York, followed closely by Los Angeles, then Boston, San Francisco and Seattle.
The 2017 city list is noticeably different from last year's, with two new cities - Phoenix and Orlando entering the top 10. Outside of the top 10, Nashville is the highest rising puppy-loving metro, jumping 18 spots from #41 to #23. The complete top-10 list is as follows: As far as the top breeds go in each city, New Yorkers have an affinity for the classic German Shepherd (which also won this year's Best in Show Award at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show), while Los Angelenos favor the most popular breed in the country, the Labrador Retriever. San Francisco, Miami and Denver residents share a preference for the allergy-friendly cross-breed Goldendoodle, while those in the Pacific Northwest in Seattle desire the Siberian Husky.
